Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

GetSven (“we”, “us”) runs getsven.us: AI tools for work, AI-powered games, and Caseback, an invite-only place to build and publish small web apps. Our contact email is getsvenai@gmail.com.

2. Who can use GetSven

GetSven is for people aged 18 and over. Do not use it if you are under 18. If we learn that someone under 18 has an account or has given us personal data, we will delete it.

3. What we collect

• What you type or upload. Text you enter into a tool, game or Caseback app, and any photo you upload to one, is sent to our AI provider to produce the answer. We do not keep it unless one of the saved features below does.
• Your account, if you sign in. Signing in is optional. Our sign-in provider holds your name, email address and how you signed in (Google or an email code).
• What we save for signed-in users. Your first name, how often you visit, and short summaries of your last 40 tool runs (for example, a stock ticker you researched or how a practice negotiation ended, not what you typed). Also your stock portfolio and research history, your Brief issues, your Quant Draft leagues, your city in The Living Metropolis, and your email preferences.
• Caseback. Invites you send (the invitee’s name, their email or phone number, and your message), your membership or waitlist entry and its email, your public handle and the apps you publish, and reports about apps (with an email only if you give one). Apps on Caseback are made by their builders: what you enter in someone’s app can be saved in that app and seen by its builder. A name you give a Caseback app is visible to everyone who opens that app.
• Technical data. We use your IP address to limit how many requests one visitor can make; it is kept for about a minute. Our hosting provider keeps short-lived request logs.

We do not use analytics software, advertising trackers or tracking pixels.

4. Who we share it with

We use these service providers to run GetSven, and share only what each one needs:

• Vercel hosts the site.
• Clerk handles sign-in.
• Upstash stores the saved data described above.
• Resend sends the emails you ask for.
• OpenAI produces AI answers from what you type or upload.
• Data lookups receive only the query, never your name or email: stock tickers go to Finnhub, Stooq and the SEC; flight numbers, product IDs or searches, sports queries and place names go to data providers reached through RapidAPI, Open-Meteo and Formula 1 data services (Jolpica-F1 and OpenF1).

We do not sell your personal data and we do not show ads.

5. Cookies and local storage

If you sign in, our sign-in provider sets a cookie to keep you signed in. Your browser’s local storage keeps a few preferences on your device. We do not set advertising or analytics cookies.

6. How long we keep it and how to delete it

We keep saved data until you delete it or ask us to. You can delete some of it yourself:

• Your memory and your Brief: “Forget everything about me” and “Flush The Brief” on Your Sven.
• Portfolio holdings: remove them one at a time.
• Recurring emails (the weekly digest, Quant Draft recaps, Caseback app notes): the unsubscribe or turn-off link at the bottom of each one.

For anything else, including Caseback records or your whole account, email getsvenai@gmail.com and we will delete it.

7. Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal data we hold about you. Email getsvenai@gmail.com.

8. Security

All traffic uses HTTPS, and the keys to our service providers stay on our servers. No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we update the effective date at the top of this page.
